RitmikPercussion Studio for iPhone and iPad
Your rhythm, on paper and in your pocket.
Ritmik is a rhythm notation app for bendir, erbane, darbuka and handpan. Tap in your strokes, hear them played back, loop the bars you find hard and keep every score with you.
- iPhone and iPad
- iOS 17 or later
- 19 languages
- No account needed
We designed a mobile practice tool that lets musicians annotate sheet music, mark repetitions and organise difficult sections.
Ritmik began when Sevgi from our team started learning bendir, erbane and handpan. The rhythms lived in her teacher’s hands, never on paper, and her notebook could not play them back.
Write
Write rhythms the way drummers think
Add Düm, Tek, Ka and rests with simple controls. Pick a note value, then move, copy or delete notes until the measure feels right. No complex notation software needed.
- Whole to sixteenth notes, dots, tenuto, tremolo and other percussion symbols
- Text between lines for counts, breathing marks or a teacher’s note
- Section titles like “Intro” or “Part B” that stay with their rows, on screen and in the PDF
- Handpan parts with hand signs: left hand above the line, right hand below
Loop and repeat
Loop the bars that trip you up
Hear your rhythm with bendir, erbane, darbuka and handpan sounds as you write. Mark where a part repeats, loop it, and let the tempo rise step by step as you improve.
- Repeat start, repeat end and simile marks, plus first and second endings
- A tempo trainer that raises the speed as you practise, with an orange heads-up before it rises
- A metronome you can blend with the drum sound while the rhythm plays
- Hide the measures you are not practising, then bring them back in one tap
Organise and practise
Every rhythm in its place, every session counted
Keep scores in folders, mark favourites and find recent work fast. Start from 63 traditional rhythms, or follow a short practice path for your instrument.
- A library of Arabic rhythms, Turkish usûls and more, each with variations
- A practice path from Maqsum to Aksak for each drum, plus five handpan melodies, each starting slow with a goal tempo
- Practice minutes and the rhythms you played, day by day
- Your library stays in sync between iPhone and iPad with iCloud

Who it’s for
Made for everyone who keeps the beat.
Students hear exercises, slow down hard rhythms and practise through repetition. Teachers prepare clear rhythm sheets for their classes. Players and composers capture ideas and turn them into readable scores.

No. You add strokes like Düm and Tek with simple controls, and Ritmik writes the notation for you. You can also start from a traditional rhythm and change it.
Ritmik is on the App Store for iPhone and iPad and needs iOS 17 or later. Your library stays in sync between the two with iCloud. You can also write rhythms in your browser at ritmik.net.
Ritmik is free to download, and everyone can save 3 rhythms of their own on the free plan. Ritmik Pro, a monthly or yearly subscription, removes that limit and unlocks more features. The yearly plan starts with a 3-day free trial.
Yes. Export a clean PDF to print or share, or send a score as a link. Students can open compatible Ritmik files from their teacher, listen to the rhythm and practise along with the score.
No account is needed. Your rhythms are stored on your device, and in your own iCloud if you use it, so we cannot see them. Ritmik has no ads and does not track you.
The app sends anonymous usage statistics, which you can turn off at any time in Profile. The privacy policy explains everything in detail.
Ritmik is available in 19 languages, including English, Turkish, Arabic, Persian, Greek, German, French, Spanish and Russian.
Bring the rhythms in your head onto the page.
Download Ritmik and write your first measure in minutes. Questions or ideas? We would love to hear from you.
